Biodiversity with the wings of technology. Digital solutions for research, conservation, communication, and biodiversity business.
§01 — About
Tyto Biodata is a technology company specialized in digital solutions for managing, analyzing, and communicating biodiversity data. Founded by professionals with decades of field research experience and a long track record in environmental projects, we combine scientific-technical expertise with applied technology.
We build apps, interactive dashboards, content platforms, games, and other digital experiences that integrate field collection, processing, and advanced data visualization with science communication and environmental education. Our solutions are designed to support research and conservation projects and create value for economic initiatives that engage with biodiversity — such as nature tourism and applied research — expanding access to information, fostering the bioeconomy, and strengthening engagement between different audiences and the natural world.
The name Tyto refers to the genus of the barn owl. Like other owls — symbols of wisdom — the Tyto genus has a worldwide distribution and is recognized for its exceptional vision, agility, and precision when striking. That's the metaphor behind our name: Tyto represents the sharp, attentive, and knowing eye on nature.
